Little Grey Bear Leaves His Forest
$23.00
Since the new leader of the forest came to power, life has gotten complicated for a lot of animals. The Grey Bear family has to flee in the middle of the night, and look for a safer place to live. They will have to go a long way and meet many different animals before arriving somewhere welcoming.
This text is inspired by stories about the author’s father’s escape, which he often shared during evenings throughout the author childhood. He talked about good and bad meetings, about funny moments and tragic ones. He did not think that, years later, his story would still be related to current events.
Born in Montreal, Martine Freedman has lived in Ottawa, Kitchener, Geneva, and Quebec City before returning to Montreal a few years ago. As a child, she dreamed of being an inventor, a teacher, a detective, and a writer. That became a reality because she was able to work as a researcher, an elementary school teacher, a university part-time lecturer, a geographer, and an author of scientific articles and travel diaries. She has published the novel "Les défis de Daphné - À la recherche d’un champion". "Little Grey Bear Leaves His Forest" is her first picture book.
