First thrilled with the idea of making films in the early ‘70s, Sam and François surround themselves with good friends, with whom they make their first 8mm film to make themselves known in the 7th art. Following the initial rejection by their peers, they will try to invest more and more in their project and even borrow money from the mafia. Debt-ridden, they are forced to accept their suppliers’ invitation to make erotic films to pay their dues. The rapid boom of erotic productions and orgies will mark their lives up until the ‘90s where the impact of this nonchalant life will be felt. Arrests, drugs, threats, imprisonment and sexual disappointments are just some of the aspects the two filmmakers will run into, realizing how this naive dream of making movies has slipped away.
