Thick as Thieves
In the 80s, childhood friends gathered on a weekend and they all wanted to party. Most girls of the neighbourhood attended a girls-only school without a boy in sight for days, so the young men did not complain too much about packing their bags every weekend. These boarding-school students had many playful tricks and laughs up their sleeves, each one as thoughtful as the next. Their mischievous banter revealed the spirit of camaraderie that permeated the walls of the old establishment. But when this group of friends planned a reunion weekend with their old friends, the school uniforms gave way to true camaraderie. Despite themselves, they dove straight into everyone’s problems, which made them realize that life has its share of difficulties for everyone. Together, they not only have friendship to share, but a whole new dimension: real emotions where adolescence becomes no longer a battle, but a time for teaming up…
Claude Jalbert has been a screenwriter since 1991 during the production of his short films of fictions. He was a TV host at Creations 7e art to encourage young filmmakers as a youngster. He has written more than 25 screenplays, some of which have been screened. He gives training and encourages the next generation with his publishing house which is one of the few to publish scenarios.
