Such Sweet Sorrow

Merle Amodeo’s first full-length poetry book After Love received an honourable mention in the Whistler Independent Book Awards 2016. The judges’ evaluation read, “There are shades of Neruda in Amodeo’s more sensual writing, while other poems recall Wendy Cope in their plainspoken humour. There is also genuine wit here – a rare thing indeed.”
